August 1, I let Sharon Norris know that I was moving September 1. On August 25, she attacked me and filed papers against me and had me put out August 31 after she and her nephew attacked me and will not give me my security deposit back, not just for me but for another tenant who also left the house on August 31.

She was supposed to prorate her rent, but she gave her nothing. This woman doesn't even own this home. She is also a renter. She tried to get me for elder abuse when she knows I work with the elderly, but she lost and didn't get a restraining order or elder abuse against me.

It's a pattern of what she does to her tenants that she allows to move into another person's house because it's not owned by her. She's a liar and a thief.

I rented a room from this person Sharon Norris for $1,000 a month lived there for 4 months and was attacked to move out August 31st which I paid my rent and should have been able to move out September 1st but she lied and went to the courts to have me put out for elder abuse and wanted to put a restraining order on me for no reason because I told her I was moving out September 1st after paying my rent August 1st now I have a $5,000 financial burden on me because of her lies but I go to court against this person Sharon Norris January 15th at 1:15 on this day for my security deposit and my financial burden she put on me because she lied I have proof and witnesses but she shouldn't be renting rooms to people when she treats people like this ,when I arrived at this home May 1st by May 5th she had the police escort a woman out of her home on August 5th right in front of my eyes so I see how she gets down I've had enough of this person and how she feels she's above the law.

IF STRAIGHT PEOPLE (MALE) CAN'T READ NOT MY PROBLEM.AND THE LAST THIS I KNOW CUDDLEING WAS NOT A SEXUAL INTENT OR NAKEDNESS IS ILLEGAL IN YOUR OWN APARTMENT. THEY REPLIED WITH MORE BS AND SHOWED HOW THEY ARE MORE PREJUDICE THEN EVER AGAINST OPENLY GAY PEOPLE WHO ARE OPEN AND HONEST ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT. NEVER ONCE DID I SAY I WANTED TO HAVE SEXUUAL INTERCOURSE LIKE I SAID EARLIER CUDDLING AND NAKEDNESS IS NOT ILLEGAL AND WHEN STATED UP FRONT NOT A SURPRISE TO ANYONE GOING TO MAKE CONTACT TO ME FOR THE ROOM. CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT SPAREROOM/FLATSHARE

AND SINCE WHEN AS YOU STATED HAVING SEX IS CUDDLING OR NAKEDNESS IS CONSIDERED HAVING SEX IN YOUR STAIGHT SICK MINDS THINK GAY PEOPLE WHATEVER THEY DO IS SEXUAL.!!! I GUESS WHEN TWO MEN KISS IT LEADS TO *** EACH OTHER

We don't discriminate against anyone. We haven't closed your account because of your sexuality - we've closed your account because you were looking for someone to sleep on a sofa in your living room, be open/willing to have a sexual relationship with you and for them to pay you monthly for that arrangement.

You mention there was no sexual intent but the information on your account suggests otherwise. That's not OK and it's a breach of the terms of use you agreed to when registering your account. To put it simply, SpareRoom is not a dating website - if that's what you're looking for there are other apps/websites for that.

Having sex (or 'naked cuddles' as you appear to suggest in your review) with your landlord should never be a condition of securing a room or finding somewhere to live. Our users are looking for homes where they can feel safe and secure - some of our users may be vulnerable or in a difficult situation and in need of a roof over their head. Requiring an arrangement that includes someone being open to a sexual relationship just to find a home isn't OK.

We have a duty of care to users and we're proud to say that anyone acting inappropriately on our website will be removed. This policy will not change. If this is the type of arrangement you are looking for, you'll need to go somewhere else to find it.
